We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our client sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our client sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Position in Rutherglen:
- We are looking for a highly motivated and quality cleaner.
- Working in a dynamic team with a wide range clients.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
Job Details:
- This position 15 plus hours per week, hours vary between 6.00am to 10.00am - Monday to Friday.
- Must be willing to do some weekends (on a rotation basis with other staff members).
- Immediate start.
- Must have attention to detail for this role.
- Extra hours of work available on request.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
- Understanding of safety protocols and chemical handling.
- Reliable transportation to travel to work site.
- Willingness to undergo background checks or obtain industry-standard certifications (e.g., Working with Children Check or Police Check, as required).
- Must be double vaccinated for Covid-19.
- Uniform supplied after the Trial Period.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Sanitisation: Disinfect high-touch points, restrooms, and breakrooms to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners.
- Specialized Tasks: Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and polish fixtures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate heavy-duty commercial cleaning machinery (e.g., industrial vacuums).
- Inventory: Monitor and restock cleaning and hygiene supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap).
- Compliance & Safety: Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS/OHS) protocols, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, repair needs, or supply shortages to management.
